We talk about pollution when elements or substances enter an environment that normally should not be there and that affect the balance of the ecosystem.

The most effective way to combat this type of pollution is to reduce the amount of phosphates and nitrates in the discharges, using detergents with a low proportion of phosphates, using less detergents.
